Consider the Lexington Visitors Center as your one-stop-shop for broad range of information about the town, its Colonial history, and the surrounding area. Operated by the Lexington Chamber of Commerce, we also specialize in live referrals to the full range of businesses, services and organizations that exist locally.
Our seven-day-a-week Visitors Center facility is unique in the region due to its year-round operation, 362 days-per-year (closed only on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day).
We are conveniently situated within the downtown, directly opposite the Lexington Minuteman statue and immediately abutting the Minuteman Regional Bikeway and historic Buckman Tavern.
Just feet from the bikeway, many people first discover us when they stop in to use the public restrooms or to purchase a bottle of water or soda. Once within the Visitors Center, you will quickly learn that there is much more to experience, including a Diorama of the Battle of Lexington. Best of all, our shop provides an array of items that you can find nowhere else in town, such as:
• Dozens of book titles, specializing in history and Colonial New England
• Lexington-themed apparel for friends & family
• Custom & unique Lexington gift items to let you share your hometown pride
